45% of 60 = .45 x 60 = 27 so it is true

60 divided by 27 = 45.


Just as how 50 divided by 5 is 10 and 5 is 10% of 50.

R.H.S = 0.45 x 60 = 4.5 x 6 = 9 x 3 = 27 = L.H.S

true, the easiest way to work it out would be to split it up into easier chunks. 10% of 60 is 6 so you'll need for of those to make 40% you'll also need a 5% which is half pf 10% therefore it is 3.
6+6+6+6+3=27
