Music today is horrible hip hop is one thing i dont want my child to listen to its all about sex and drugs, see these young girls under14 having sex and shoving pills down thier throats and how do they know about suicide at such a young age you think it maybe the parents that dont care what happens to them? or the music?

It's both the music and the "culture" it sells.
Violence, murder, lust for the material, revenge, selling drugs and "pimpin"....
It may not be forcing the gun into their hand or the pills into their mouth, but it is telling them that doing things that way is the way to be and it's simply wrong.

Mostly the music some of us listen to(Not me). Many songs of Rap mostly (sometimes "Hip-Hop as you said) say innappropriate things. Some people just pay attention to the rhythm though.
Also some parents influence these innaprpriate ythings or even innapropriate songs because they like that kind of stuff.

NO IT'S THE PARENT......and trust me hip hop is not the music that is influencing a young girl to shove pills down her throat and commit suicide......if anything it's rock and roll and emo music that does that. No music tells a person what to do!!!!!

The human spirit is especially susceptible to music because it is the most direct and has an affinity for it. So you have to watch what you listen to.

If you think your child is dumb enough to do those things because they listen to music then by all means keep them away from it.

I am totally with u, my sis listens to that kind of stuff, they should listen to country or even rock if u like that stuff.
