Check to see if your screen resolution has been changed, and then try to find "autosync" on the monitor. The computer may be out of sync with the monitor. If you don't have that feature, change the screen resolution around until it syncs.

hmmm. it might be a virus
but try degaussing your monitor
it is an option in the series of small obnoxious buttons you push
on your monitor
it is usually one of the last options too, so start from the bottom
but that is only if you have those huge monitors still
if you have LCD, then no need, that is not the problem
the next problme i can think of is your videocard.
it is screweeddddd up!
go to the manufacture and ask for a fix
or get a new computer
which ever

With so little recommendations given approximately your computer, i will basically wager it is an incompatibility challenge with your video card + OS with an previous game as StarCraft. the two do not basically Alt+Tab out, or attempt updating your video drivers, patch StarCraft and all that.
