If you are planning to board a cruise line from Port Canaveral, I recommend you book a shuttle ride with Mears (http://www.mearstransportation.com)
They are located one floor below baggage claim at the Orlando International Airport. They are friendly, cleaner, and much cheaper than a taxi or rental car.
If you wish to drive to Port Canaveral to spend the day and not to board a cruise line, I recommend you book a rental car with Enterprise or Avis - they have the best customer service, by far.

We went on a cruise leaving from Port Canaveral a few years back. A taxi is expensive, we found a couple of vans (shuttles) going there a little cheaper as you are sharing the van with other people going there as well. If you can't find a shuttle you are better off just renting a car with a GPS system to find your way there, a lot of them have pick-up and various drop-off locations especially the bigger names like AVIS and Budget. Good Luck.

It depends on the cruise line you are taking, I know Disney has a shuttle. If the cruise line does not, take the mears shuttle. Renting a car and then paying for parking for it to sit there will be pricey.

Going to Disney international you will possibly want MCO, Orlando international Airport. in case you're staying on Disney sources and using the paranormal exhibit to transport you from the airport to the motel, it is the airport they use. Have an excellent trip.

Check with your cruise line for transfer from the hotel (or a hotel they have) When I called royal carrebian they got transfer from hotel to the port for their cruises from there. I guess they also have one from the airport but if they arent then grab a cab to their departure hotel/place. Plan your flight with suffient time. Driving time from orlando to the space coast is minimum 30 min to 1 hour (I dont recal how long it was now). Johan

I assume you are going on a cruise. I'm not sure if there is a shuttle or not, but i would suggest calling your travel agent, or the cruise line. I do know that Mears Transportation provides a TON of shuttles, maybe they have one.
