I got an iPod this last Christmas. I heard from a friend that you could use Limewire to transfer music to it? Is this true, and if so how do I do it?

Here's what I did to make it simple:

1. on limewire go to tools>options>player
UNcheck that box that say to use their player.

2. go to Start>set program access and defualts>custom (click the arrow on the side)>scroll down to media players>select itunes

Now all your limewire downloads will be in ipod format. After downloading, simply double click, itunes opens up and simply drag it to your play
list.

yes you can do it..if you have songs already saved on limewire ...right click on the start menu button ...then click on explore ...when that comes up click on shared...then pick the songs you want (right click them and click on open with then click on itunes) it may take a little while, but it should work....thats how i do it since i have limewire :)

yes you can, just download them on to your real player or whatever you have and plug in your ipod and they should automatically download if not then just follow select upload from your player and then plug in your ipod and select songs to upload it's really easier than it sounds . best of luck have fun!
