how can i make only one gumball drop at one time for a project.
I NEED HELP! please

i am making an invention for school.
the invention is a color picking bublegum machine.i am almost done.i will be done if someone helps me with one thing.that one thing is, how can i make only one gumball drop and not all of them?i need help! Please. :-)

Find a thick dowel, and drill out enough of a hole for one gumball to fit inside. Insert this dowel into the bottom of your gumball container, and put a handle on one end so you can turn it all the way around. When the hole/groove/cavity turns upward, one gumball should drop into it; when you turn it back down, it should fall out. And since the dowel will be blocking the rest of the opening, no other gumballs should fall out.

you'll need to create a funnel type deal then make a cover that you pull away to alow one at a time or make one of those ferris wheels things where a gumball goes in each slot and when it turns they fall
and use water to turn it
