No you aren't...i'll never own one. i simply like my privacy. if you can't reach me at home or at work, then i don't wanna be bothered. simple as that! either leave a message or call later. i am a male and living in Los Angeles. if my car breaks down, theres plenty of pay phones, garages, buses, cabs, etc. to keep me safe and going. my car might get stranded but i'm not. i can walk away from it. personally, i wish they hadn't been invented. my wife and girls are on the phones constantly. even moreso now that cell phones exist. I've watched and listened to peolple have full blown arguments and conversations at 4:30 am....AM. who the hell is up at 4:30 am, let alone the guy was making constant calls to whoever? Its totally crazy and making everyone else crazier. if alexander graham bell was alive today, i'd kill him! he's the worst terrorist a family could ever have. as far as i'm concerned, he's done more damage to the human race than saddam hussein could ever do.

I have reasons not to own a cell phone. You only need a cell phone to call someone and use other features the phone carries. Your phone bill is doubled. And more reasons of why I dont have a cell phone.

No I don't have a cell phone either so you are not alone. I've been thinking of getting one for emergencies though.

You're a minority. I can't live without my phone, I had to take it in for repairs and was without it for 45 minutes. When I got back to it, I had 15 missed calls and 30 text messages! The technician got so annoyed with my phone he had to turn it off right after I left. I felt so naked without my phone

Never wanted one, our son got us 2, now we have cell phones.. After I retired I packed away the answering machine, didn't need that either~~~~~~

i don't and i heard of an experiment where they placed a raw egg between two cell phones and called one to another and left them on and the egg got cooked from the microwaves!
