I try not to count to ten. It seems pointless. I mean, what's really going to happen at ten. My kids know that short of spanking (which I only do on rare occassions) nothing drastic could happen after ten. What could I do -- make them get out of the car because they didn't stop arguing? I tend to use more "creative" methods?

Of course! Kids move faster when given a time limit! It also works to "see how fast they can get something done!" Their speed is amazing!
