the Saints? I was just wondering how the playoffs were set up this year. I was trying to set up a quick bracket, so it would be nice to get the correct answer as quickly as possible. I already checked SI, ESPN, NFL, etc. (.coms)!

The lowest seeded team left will play the bears, and the highest seeded team left will play the Saints.

The Seedings are as follows:
1. Bears
2. Saints
3. Eagles
4. Seahawks
5. Cowboys
6. Giants

No, the lowest seeded team after the first round has to play the highest seeded team; for example, if the Giants beat the Eagles, then they have to play the Bears and no matter who wins between the Cowboys/Seahawks would get the Saints.

this is how it will work...

The saints will play the eagles if they win, if the eagles lose then then the saints play the winner of the boys and hawks game.

If the Giants win then they will play the bears, if the giants lose then the bears will play the winner of the boys and hawks.

1st seed plays the worst possible team which is why being the first seed is so big come playoff time, your hoping for an easier schedule.

if the Giants win they go to the Bears and whatever winner from the Seahawks & Cowboys go to the Saints. But if the eagles win then they will advance normally so does the Seahawks & Cowboys.

As stated above, but possibly a little more clearly:

If the Giants win, they go to Chicago and Dallas/Seattle goes to New Orleans.

If the Eagles win, they go to New Orleans and Dallas/Seattle goes to Chicago.

Same in the AFC. If the Chiefs win, they go to San Diego and New England/NY Jets go to Baltimore. If the Colts win, they go to Baltimore and New England/NY Jets go to San Diego.

It depends on who wins b/c of their seeding. You can check espn to tell you who plays who depending on who wins.
