Certain lip glosses will just do that as they sit on your lips. It usually only shows up on the corners because the majority of your lips stay pretty moist, preventing this from happening. Put lip gloss on before bed, and you'll probably get all that cakey stuff all over your lips, by the time you wake up.

Its probably there because you rubbed your lips together alot and it moves the excess lip gloss to the side of your lips.
