Man I feel sorry for the D-Backs. Remember a few years ago when Randy wanted out of Arizona so badly?? He sais that the only team he would ever play for would be the Yankees because he wanted a championship. He wanted to play for a team that "deserved his talents" and that he could win the WS with. Well Randy boy, it seems like your talents were wasted in NY. Maybe if you didn't want out of Arizona so badly in the first place and hadn't openly said that the Yankees were only good enough for you, it would make it a little bit easier to return to the desert without shame. Seems like "you" weren't good enough for the Yankees when you thought that no one else was good enough for you. I don't say this often, but way to go NY for sticking it to Randy. LoL. I hope the fans don't greet hin with open arms in Arizona.
GO RED SOX!!!

Unfortunately, I feel bad that he couldn't pitch well for the Yankees. If you can't perform in the playoffs, you wont last very long. Especially for the Yankees. Johnson is one of my favorite pitchers. After his first season with the Yankees, he just went downhill from there. His first season was definitely better from the last. Since it looks like his better days are behind him, it is time to move on. There is a bright side though. With the money that they can save for trading Johnson, even though it still has yet to be approved by the commissioner, we can bring, and I think we will, bring back the 7 time Cy Young award winner. The Rocket, Roger Clemens. If Clemens does come back, I would be happy. I want him to retire a Yankee. Robinson Cano may have to give up #22 if Clemens does come back. So replacing Johnson with Clemens is a great move even though I feel bad that his career didn't work out as a Yankee.

As a Yankee Fan I am ecstatic. It was a mistake two years ago to give a 41 year old pitcher over 32 million just because Steinbrenner has wanted him for the past 10 years. He was in decline then and is more so now. Good luck Arizona.

a 300 activity winner? Even in this age the situation pitchers are monitored for innings heavily, i think of of we ought to work out a 300-activity winner indoors the destiny - it somewhat is much better do-in a position than quite a few baseball's distinctive documents. seem on the way the three energetic pitchers have been given to 3 hundred. Clemens, Maddux, and Glavine have all performed on solid communities for their careers, making wins better available to get. If a pitcher on a solid team isn't overworked and keeps to be healthful, then averaging 15 wins according to 12 months over 20 years (to get 3 hundred) isn't farfetched. it somewhat is confusing to tell perfect now if each and every physique somewhat has a great gamble at 3 hundred. If Roy Oswalt can pitch into his 40s then he has a shot. If Carlos Zambrano and C.C. Sabathia have consisent seasons indoors the destiny and are not getting harm then the could desire to possibly get near to to 3 hundred.

Nothing the Diamondback do suprises me any more - I'm still in shock over the color change.
There is a bunch of idiots running the ship since they forced Jerry Colangelo out - RJ is an old man and he's just about broken down, so of course they want him back, I hope I'm wrong but this can't be very smart!
Hey - I'm a HUGE D-Back fan, but they are making it hard as heck to be one.

Arizona can have him!
He has done nothing for the Yankees, but suck up the payroll.
He should retire, and drive a Hummer!
