i currently have a d in my biology and history class for the 1st semester..do i HAVE to go to summer school?

I don't think you do. I think you CAN if you don't want to repeat the semester next year. I also don't think you have to repeat the semester unless you made a F. My school is pretty easy though and you can slide by with a D. But you should buckle down. Doesn't look like you're working hard and that won't be good if you want to go to college.

If you are in high school, the least acceptable grade is a "D". The only way that you would need to repeat the class is if your over points are less than qualifing for graduation and the "D" needs to be brought up to a higher level or if the school you attend specificly requires that classes with the a final grade of "D" be repeated.

Depends on the policy of your school. Talk to your teachers about your grades you're having.

well in my school you only have to go if you actually fail the class with an F but im not sure about yours but most likely you arent required to go cuz you didnt fail

u shouldn't unless u fail more then 2/3 of ure grade.

i think it depends on what your school policy is. at my school, you can pass with a d and not have to go to summer school.
