Ahhh, it was going to end anyway , people can only watch 35 years olds acting like 18 year olds for so long.

Well first off television network producers cancel shows because of ratings... The reason that you see the writers killing off characters or bringing them back is because they are trying to improve ratings. They usually do this during sweeps weeks. (this is when Nielson does their ratings.) Many writers will do those "to be continued" episodes then... The idea is to keep you watching to see what will happen. This is one of the oldest tricks in the book!

Haha I just answered a question about the OC being cancled and I said it would still be thriving if they hadn't killed her. That made me quit watching and I'm sure they lost ratings like crazy. I REFUSED to watch the show after they killed her, it wasn't "good" anymore.

Yes I do! The show had pretty much run its course. Once the kids graduated and went off to college, their audience lost interest.

Yeah its a teen show with no substance, so it would eventually get cancelled because its just the same pemises with no good plots.
