Where is my intake air temperature sensor(IAT) located in my 1997 Subaru legacy?

Question

I bought a chip off ebay, and im having difficulty finding the IAT. Its a 1997 Subaru Legacy GT, 2.5L. I've searched but i just cant seem to find it...any help or reference to another site would be awesome!

Note: vague answers will NOT help me, example:

"My hubby is a mechanic and he said to check on the side of the air cleaner....Hope this helps"

this helps not at all, ive searched around it already, im looking for a definative answer.

The intake air temp sensor is built into the airflow meter which is bolted to the air filter box.
