Australia have already completed the white wash by winning the 5th test by 10 wickets.
Unfortunately for England, they had to face Australia when they were at their best and England could not cope up with the pressure generated by the Australia. England Bowlers failed miserably to pose any challenge to Australian Batsmen, whereas Australian bowlers never allowed any liberty to England Batsmen.
That made most of the difference.

Where did it all go wrong? I'll try to help;
1st Test - Brisbane
Australia won by 277 runs
2nd Test - Adelaide
Australia won by 6 wkts
3rd Test - Perth
Australia won by 206 runs
4th Test - Melbourne
Australia won by an inns and 99 runs
5th Test - Sydney
Australia won by 10 wickets
I'd suggest somewhere in that 21-odd days.

it nevertheless a three hundred and sixty 5 days away, fairly some ameliorations will happen, sidebottom will grasp and get greater experience, freddy will come back and so as Simon Jones (with any luck)... and on an identical time aussies are finding for a spinner... won't be able to look ahead to the subsequent ashes, the actual conflict of cricket.

Yes they did, and no doubt its depressing for england!! well they should admit that their performance was very poor, and secondly they were playing against the best cricket team, so might be they were feeling mental pressure and could not give even a better fight..Better luck next time !!!

Enjoyed being part of it, if only from in front of a tv screen - look on the bright side, all we get is the enjoyment from the series and a tacky glass REPLICA urn!!!!

Aussie sport is in a league of its own,
They produce winners, while we produce losers.
British sport will never catch Aussie, No way.
It wont be long before the Aussie football team are in front of England in the FIFA world rankings, you mark my words.

Personally, I think we can take pride in the fact that in all sports we have now developed losing into a fine art. Hooray for us! We're crap and we are good at being crap!
