I have been a country music fan all my life and I remember the 1980's like it was yesterday. It seems that female country singers are getting skinnier all the time. Used to it seemed like it was harder to get a record deal because they wanted you to be pretty darn good and they wanted to know that your record would be bought. Now it seems that all you have to do is be a size 2 and you have a record deal. I've talked to others who think the same way. What do you think?

Alan Jackson's one of the only real country singers around today. It seems nowadays to be a mainstream country artist all you have to do is throw on a cowboy hat and a pair of tight jeans...your music doesn't even have to be country:-(
