My place is a mid-sized college town with about 200,000 population.
There are chain restaurents like Ruby Tuesdays, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Apple Bees, Outback, Chilli, Bennigans, and other foreign stuff (Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese)
Where do you usually go? If your place is this boring and indifferent?

Well. in that case asking your date is the suitable way...
Because of the following reason:
1.You respected her.
2.If she didnt like the place its not your fault.
3.She could jus offer you another place like Cinema or park which could change the whole story.
But remember that would have fun anyway..

Pretty much Olive Garden and places like that. We also have a lot of bars and clubs, so usually we go dancing there or to eat there. I'm 19 but pretty much if you live in a college town they let everyone in to the bars and clubs. We also go bowling, hiking, etc. It's not that bad but I love being in the city more since there are more options.

Try some small foreign restaurant. Even if the food isn't good its probably more fun than a boring chain. If it is bad it gives the two of you something to laugh about.

Well since you are "living in a mid-sized suburban" maybe you can take her to a drive thru since you will already be at your place!!!!!! Sorry this made me laugh, I was thinking forget about dinner get a job so you can move out of your car!!!!!!

WHY DONT YOU MAKE HER A NICE DINNER AT HOME LIKE AN ITALIAN DISH NOT THE NORMAL STUFF MAYBE AN OUT DOOR PICNIC AT THE PARK SOME WHERE WITH A VIEW BE CREATIVE GOOD LUCK
