Because the ratings have dropped and the plotline has gone to crap. That show is awful.

because of the fact they have been given rid of Mischa Barton, who virtually became the middle of the tutor. The oc's rankings circulate down because of the lack of ability of visitors who're busy staring at American Idol.

its bullshit its getting cancelled...its not that the ratings are dropping...they're actually going up...but because he thought that he (the creator) would leave the show on top with a great ending after 4 great seasons so the show would always be remembered...not b/c of bad story or no more viewers

It has been cancelled and the last new show air date is Feb.22.

Its gonna be off the air because not a lot of people watch it since Marissa was killed off.
