im not sure - i dont really know who i am - well, i DO know who i am but i am different in different situations. like - i hope that people at work like me for the person i am AT WORK, but i know my B/F wouldnt loe me for being that person because i am not as restrained in my personal life.
so i do agree with your statement for people like family and boyfriends, but i think everyone comprimises their personality slightly, occasionally.... i hope im not the only one!!

I completely agree. I've learned over time that if I am always and consistently "just me" -- bitchiness, griping, honesty and all -- more people actually like. I think if I were to try and fake who I am, less people would tolerate me.

i 100% agree. i have a policy of being very upfront and i don't do fake, this pisses alot of the desperate housewives around me off! Oh well, at least i'm true to myself.

a fake that's loved is like doing a ton of plastic surgary for a picture, may be a pretty nice photo- but a fake, just like being loved for who you arn't
