I can't really answer you that one. Everyone says it's got to be Barca since they are the defending champion, with the all stars factor. But no, Liverpool is a very tough competitor, if you watched how Liverpool lifted the CL trophy 2 years ago by beating Bayern Leverkusen, Juventus, Chelsea and AC Milan (the classic Final that Liverpool came back from 3-0 to 3-3 within 6 minutes). I say, it's a 50-50 game.
You might say Liverpool is currently ranked at 3rd/ 4th place in EPL, not stable enough, but this team performs like a monster in cup games. Don't forget Liverpool got Rafa Benitez (sp??) as manager, the ex-Valencia coach that won the La Liga league 3 years ago, ahead of Barca and Read Madrid, he knows barca so well. So, I don't know too.

I'm a liverpool supporter, of course naturally I want my team to win. Why wouldnt I, I really dont think Barca are invincible far from it, LIverpool have a few Spanish players, Rafa is Spanish. He knows his stuff tactically, Liverpool are better when underdogs. Barca will go into the leg at Nou Camp, thinking: "well we the best" and be complacent. Liverpool will give the nothing to lose spirit and win the 1st Leg 2-0. Anfield is a fortress, especially on European nights. Its crucial that Liverpool score and keep a clean sheet at Nou Camp, because the tie maybe decided on away goals, to the world its all about Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Deco, Iniesta, Xavi, well if thats what makes Barca wins games, Individual players, then they'll never beat a compact team as Liverpool, think of this: Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Carragher, Riise, Finnan, Hyppia, Kuyt, Luis Garcia (man for the big occassion) its a like for like contest. Its the luck of the ball going in the back of the net. Remember 2005 when Juventus were supposed kill of Liverpool because they were the best team in the tournament, Rafa done his homework. Tactically when Liverpool to Turin, he got it spot on. Chavski in the semi's he got it Spot on. Barca write off Liverpool at your own peril.
Liverpool FC You'll never walk alone.

It's going to be fantastic what ever happens but a little inside info can't hurt.
With the first leg at barca and Anfield to wrap it up I don't fancy the spaniards chances! Rafa has had the better of barca for a number of years and his European record is impressive to say the least. sure barca beat arsenal last year but they aren't a euro team.
I think you will eat your hat come the end of the second leg. riiykaard has never experianced an Anfield night before, neither have the rest of you stars.
Liverpool 3
barca 1
