There are people who don't have much at all, not even three meals a day, that are very happy, because they have faith. There are very rich people who are very unhappy, they have everything that money could ever buy, but they have empty hearts. So, problems come from both sides of the fence. I am "well to do", but prefer happiness over money any day, otherwise I would be rich in money, not just comfortable, but I would not be so happy as I am today.

theirs = living in the age of modern technology not having a chance to know more and enjoy the comfort technology brings.
ours = keep up with forever-changing advanced technology, live fast paced life surrounded by anything other than the nature.

Nobody is rich, the way I see it.

i am reduced to one luxury. my beloved computer and an old f150 that bearly runs and needs a new tag for the license tag or i will get a ticket. go to the bent and dent grocery store using my squeaking grocery cart. i once was doing pretty good but a long streak of misfortunes has left me old, poor and deserted by friends and family. (nobody loves you when you are down and out). so don't ask condescending question like that. you are cold.
