I'm really shy so and only talk a lot when I'm around really close friends or friends I've known for a while.

There's not an answer for that, some guys cant stand shy girls, some cant stand outgoing ones. You probably want to fins some guy who's really outgoing and nice, beacause if your too shy to talk to him much and vice versa....thats not good right? =]

Depends on who you want. If you're shy you may not get his attention. You may need to flirt a little bit or do something to show you like him some how. I can be shy. Best thing to do is to show some interest in some way. I once borrowed a chair from a co-worker.. she kidded w/me about it that I took it. I kind of liked her so I left her a small note and a small Hershey's kiss to thank her. Things went good from there.

Its not a turn off, but some guys may think you dont like em...i love shy girls, there usually really cool once you get to know them..cant stand loud annoying chicks..

It turns guys off because you give the impression that you have nothing to talk about and nothing interests you. How fun is it to be around someone who doesn't talk or have anything to offer? Not very fun at all.
