Take a strong thick bottle and a cork. Put some baking soda in the bottom of the bottle (a couple of teaspoons should do). Pour in about a quarter cup of vinegar and put the cork in; snug, not as hard as you can!! Stand away from bottle. The vinegar and the baking soda create a gas (I can't remember what anymore). The gas builds up and pops the cork off the bottle. This was great when I was in the 4th grade!

Here is a simple one, 2 cups of water and 2 feathers. Put one feather in the water and take it out and blow on it, it will move. Put oil in the other cup of water and put the feather in the cup, when you take the feather out, and try to blow on it it will not move. Proves that oil is heavier than water.

yes, make a little box out of pieces of paper that will hold water. then put water in it and set it on fire. it wont actually catch fire becuase of the water but it smells SOOOO horrible

we did this in chemistry and i have NO idea, but its fun
