Helo me with my "teen" problems and in style is crap . . .?

Question

Hey, This may sound a little weird but, I really need to know. I am going to be turning 13 on the 31 this month and I have been thinking about how I need to treat myself to become an older kid/Teen. I am a 7th grade boy doing normal typical things a 7th grader would do. I would like to know how I should be, I really don’t know what to say but Ill say it anyways.

I would like to know how to:

·Dress
·What shampoo to use
·What deoderant to use
·What clothes are best for me to wear and how to dress(I prefer Abercrombie and Fitch as you can tell. And I would like to stick to that. So if you have any ideas on what to buy there that would be great!)
·What cologne girls would be attracted to . . .
·How my Additude should be
·How to have my hair (treatments, dye, etc.)


And if you can think of anything else I should know, feel free to tell me.

So as you can see I may be out of my mind teen age act. But not really. No ones really “complimented” me or anything like that or nice. It may seem kind of dumb. But when you do help me with my “teen age” social and enviorment act, I bet people will start liking me.

just be yourself..
-i dont think it matters what kind of shampoo you use, and please dont die your hair.
-wear a deoderant that works.. just find one that you like at the store, axe is popular
-if you like abercrombie clothes then keep wearing them. i think abercrombie is a nice style.
-my favorite colognes are "fierce" from abercrombie and fitch, and le male, and addidas
-your attitude: you should just be youself and be confident (but dont be too confident or you may seem cocky) and try talking to everyone and be out going.

·Dress:

Well you seem to no a lot about dressing if you shop at Abercrombie and Fitch, It is one of my favorite stores too!! I am 14 so I totally know where you are coming from!I remember when I was in 7th grade.. So many things going through my head!!I totally reccamend stores like, Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostle, Pac-Sun, Stores like that. Becoming 13 doesn't mean that you have to dress mature, just dress like a teenager, I also reccamend Teen Vouge Magazine, it will help you A LOT!


·What shampoo to use:

All of my friends use shampoos like, Pantene ProV, or Herbal Essences. You want your hair to smell good! And be silky and smooth and shiney


·What deoderant to use:

I have always used secret, It really doesn't matter what kind of deoderent you wear. Just as long as it smells good.I guess

I love getting the Casual Luxuries logo tees at Abercrombie. That is just me though, I would stick with bright colors and cute clothes.. But were talking about Abercrombie her??? They always have cute clothes!!!mini skirts and leggings is another "MUST HAVE"

The fierce Abercrombie and Fitch Cologne smells soooooooooooooooooo Hott!! Tag or Axe body spray is good too!

You don't need to get that done but it is always fun right?? Highlights is my preference, [TIP] Don't dye ur hair a different color every month, people will start calling you fake..!!


Another thing is... A teens vocab changes a little bit.. When ur 13, you no longer call a boy Cute.. U say HOT GUYS!!!

No don't worry you aren't absurd. It's totally normal to be worrying about things like this. Here are some answers to your questions.
Your hair is your hair so that means do whatever you feel comfortable having. Use a deodorant that works and a shampoo that you like. Because to tell you the truth... Most people will not notice this. Your clothing style is another thing that you really need to choose on your own. What you've said sounds very nice. Your attitude should pretty much be yourself. But if you are trying to get the girls all you really have to do is talk to them. Be their friends. That's one of the key things. Compliments aren't everything either. Most of the time people are too worried about how they look to care about how anyone else looks. Just remember to be yourself and don't fall into pressure too much.

you dont have to change immediately just cuz ur turning 13.

shop at abercrombie, american eagle and hollister. those stores are really popular(i know cuz im in 8th grade) it doesnt matter what shampoo or deoderant you use. no one is going to go up to you and ask lol. what do you mean by your additude? i guess sweet, nice, funny(if u are if ur not then dont try to be it wont work lol) etc. try the abercrombie perfume for guys. just wear your hair just a little longer and keep the color you have. some people think its weird for guys to dye their hair(at least i do) good luck=)

First of all, I see that you are not satisfied with yourself as many other kids your age can be. Go get yourself a haircut, some nice jeans, a long sleeved tailored shirt with buttons down the middle and be friendly. Say "hi" or "good morning" to everyone you see. Oh, and start off everyday eating a good breakfast and being everywhere you need to be on time!!! Other stuff might just be the part where you'll be wasting your time. =(

hey I'm 13, too! here's my advice:

Dress:
Abercrombie and Fitch is ok, but dress casual and don't worry about 'color corridinating'. Now, I'm not saying walk around with a purple shirt black pants, and yellow shoes! i mean, just any color shirt, some jeans, nice pair of sneakers (vans, etnies, etc.). And maybe a hoodie if it's cold. (I always liked it when guys dressed casually.)

Shampoo:
RedKen works best for my brother. It has a wide selection, too. And plz don't forget to shower.

Colonge:
Quite honestly, I never really liked cologe on guys but the best kind is Axe or Tab. if not, try Calvin Klein. (With the Axe and Tab, use sparingly, and don't use it to cover up your stinky sweat smell! worst mistake EVER!)

Attitude:
BE YOU! OR, you can be cool, calm, and laid-back.

Hair:
If you have:
-dark skin and ANY color eyes- plz keep your hair black or dark brown.

-medium skin and dark eyes-black, medium brown, or dark brown. (cool or ash shades)

-medium skin light eyes- medium brown or lightbrown (cool or natural shades)

-light skin dark eyes- blonde, light brown or dark brown (natral or golden shades)

-light skin light eyes- ANY COLOR YOU WANT!!!

Plz keep all the colors in the cool/ash tones! I've always hated red hair on men. No girl likes it, believe me!

Oh yeah here are more tips:
-WORK OUT!!! most important
-be less self-concious
-try to be yourself
-take up a sport like football or basketball. That'll earn your a hot body and popularity.

Well dress with latest styles...Abercrombie, Hollister and jeans are in right now!!Trust me I am only a year younger than you!!I use V-o5 and Pantene!!But, you should just get the shampoo that suits your needs and that smells the best!!Axe deoderant is the IN thing right now....Well buy shirts and jeans, try getting jackets and sweatshirts at Aeropostale!! AXE is the cologne or MAYBE tag.....Attitude(DON"T KNOW) just don't be snobby and be a good student!!! Try brownish-blondish with spikes!!

dude, don't worry about it!!!! You will only be comfortable being yourself. Girls know this and will know if your pretending to be someone your not. THE KEY HERE IS TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF. Pick the clothes, shampoo & deoderent U like. YOU CAN'T FAKE AN ATTITUDE. Be scared, do it anyway...

hey. i would like to suggest that you not use axe like many of the guys with which i went to school. it does not smell good as most guys suppose. (and dress casual. tee-shirt and jeans. unless it's a special occasion, then go for the classics unless you absolutely know you look good in something else) your hair... depends what sort of people you want to attract. keep it natural or go all out. don't be all iffy about it.

Wow. I am already thirteen and I didn't even think about that stuff before my b-day. My advice is to be yourself and find what you like yourself. That's the whole point of being a teen!
