Cable is robbery I hate having to pay but there is really nothing I can do about it. For digital cable, and high speed internet we are paying $150.00 a month now and we don't have any premium channels. No HBO, Cinemax, or anything like that, just the basic package on one TV and two computers, no phone.

When I had cable I paid 60 a month for a 3mb connection, I had no complaints sever was rarely down and had good service. Now I have a laptop and just use the WiFi hot spots.

We use Comcast Digital cable for our internet and it runs roughly $60/mo. We have used their service for 8+ years and have never been disappointed. It is expensive, but the speed and reliability is fantastic. I know speeds and cost vary by location.

DSL is typically less expensive, but does not typically provide the same level of speed and reliability.

I hope that helps.
