hamsters are nocturnal , meaning that the sleep all day and play all night NATURALLY. Didn't you do any research before buying a live animal?

hamster food: peanuts are fattening. get her an excersise wheel.

Making her friendly: handle her when she is in a good mood, ie: not aspeep at 2 oclock in the afternoon. remeber how you feel when she keeps you up at night? well that is how she feels too.
like i said next time research before taking in a live animal that you don't know much about

I believe that hamsters live in the desert in the wild so they come out at night because the sun has gone down and it is cooler outside. It's part of their nature. Maybe you could cover the cage over with a blanket during the day to fool her into thinking it's night. I used to have one that would spin on the wheel all night long, so I put the cage in the other room so it wouldn't bother me. The more you handle them the more they will get used to you. Just limit the amount of food that you give her each day instead of keeping the bowl full at all times.

To hamsters that is a normal sleeping pattern they are nocturnal which means they sleep during the day and are awake at night. Now I don't have hamsters but I do have guinea pigs, so I don't know if its the same but my guinea pigs have come use to when I wake up. And you may be over feeding her so cut down on the food, how many times a day do you feed her?

She's going to be active at night. Deal with it. You are going to have to ease her into knowing you. Don't touch her until she's comfortable with her surroundings, especially if you just got her. Stress can make them sick. Start by rubbing her back, then move to picking her up in the cage. She should get used to you holding her, and you'll be able to hold her outside of the cage. Just make sure you don't have a dog around-- she could get eaten.

For good hamster food, try nutriphase, with a carrot or a celery stick or an apple slice. You should also have some chew sticks for her teeth.

Okay, First of alll HAMSTERS ARE NOCTERNAL!!!!!!!

Get a quiet whele for him/her to run in at night they cost 10-15 dollars and are a good investment.
and, pick her up between the hours of 5pm and 8pm theyre waking up in taht time and arent awake enough to feak out. Pet her and SCOOP her/him up when you do, dont grap or chace your hamster. The best hamster food is a mix of seeds. Thats probaly what you already have. dont feed her too much or too little. they bury thier food so fill up her dish in the morning and when its empty later dont worry about it, she burried it. Fill up her dish once a day and make sure she has water all the time. and somthing to chew on. She also needs a shelter with some cotton balls in it that she can make herself a bed out of.. There should be 1-2 inches of bedding in her cage, bedding- that wood looking stuff. oh, clean her cage once or twice a week.

petsmart sells good food, and target sells animal planet brand which is great. cut back on fresh foods to once a day, say carrot, celery piece, strawberry slice, banana slice. let her out on your bed or in a room where it cant get stuck or hide, give it treats, also let it walk on your arm, leg lap, whatever while you sit on bed or floor, get an exercise ball at either of these two stores also. also get her a plastic "igloo" they call em, at petsmart or petco. nothing you can do about activity, they are nocturnal creatures only come out at night or afternoon sometimes.

hamsters are nocturnal. they all stay up all night. if she bites try wearing gloves or maybe dipping your fingers in vinegar so she wont anymore. if shes just skittish then just spend more time petting her n stuff. make sure she has a wheel or you let her roll around in a ball to get exercise and work off all that food.

i think of Twinkle is an exceedingly stunning call, and "tinkle" is the washing room euphemism, not Twinkle! have relaxing with your hamster, and make helpful you do your examine to furnish it the wonderful care attainable.
