ok i took a test came out positive and today i went to the gyno and they did an ultrasound and he said that i didnt look pregnant? so i am waiting for a blood test . he said it may be too early to tell. has this ever happend to anyone before? please i need advice?

It sounds like you are expecting but it just maybe to early to hear or see the baby just yet.Good Luck and if you like tell us all how it turned out!

Yes, the test can show positive, but the doctor may not be able to see anything in the uterus. This could be because the pregnancy is too early, or it's a tubal pregnancy. I pray it's not the latter for you. Or, like a previous post-er said, perhaps something else in your system caused the test to think you were pregnant. Hormones can vary all the time and those tests aren't ever 100%. Good luck - i hope it goes your way.

Actually yes this has happened to me and it happens pretty often to other girls. Remember, home pregnancy test aren't always 100% accurate. I took one a few months ago and it came out positive, but when I went to the doctors and had a test done there, it was negative.

Sometimes pregnancy tests come out postive if you are on some kind of hormones. They will not be as accurate. So please do wait for another month and see what your body feels like and then again you can go to the gyn.
