You can request them at the bank. Same thing goes for the 500, any large denomination is out of circulation and has to be requested from your bank.

I worked at a bank for 6 years, and they can't order a 1000 dollar bill for you, sorry. In all that time, we never even had a 500 dollar bill, although there was a customer whom I was told had one and he'd bring it in to deposit every now and then, when he was down on his luck. The tellers always kept it in the vault so he could "buy" it back whenever his luck turned around again.
Your best bet would be to contact the US Mint and see what they suggest, or find a currency collector who's willing to part with one (they are, of course, no longer in circulation, so be willing to pay way more than face value.)

I don't think that they make those but if so try you nearest state bank or airport postage center. The airport is always exchange
money in the area where they do postage & currecny.
