has anyone ever had a first hand encounter with a ghost?

Yes several times i have been visited by spirits who have been related to seperate girlfriends, they do tend to visit while your sleeping standing next to your bed. Not everyone has the ability to sense a ghost, another thing I believe is they have to leave if you tell them, they did for me last time. Although I know of 1 house that the dad went crazy and killed his family and himself, the house could not keep tenants, they ended up putting a sign up saying do not enter haunted house, of course people want to go check it out, the little girl would watch you through the curtains,
the mattress would fall from leaning on the wall, knives would be seen flying through the air, 1 group went in tied together by rope only to be seperated in the dark, eventually they bulldozed that house. Sometimes when the ghosts say leave you have to.

Yes actually. You see our house is very strange. When I was younger I would see a little boy in my room standing in front of my bed, he obviously came from long ago because he was wearing old clothes. We also have a very long passage in our house and while walking down it you can feel a cold draft from the middle to the end and just about everyone notices it. Also when other people sleep over they tell you about the same things that they have seen and felt in the house. A good friend of mine who also sees things the way I do told me that the litle boy once showed him what happened in the house, and well it was not good, the room in which the little boy was murdered (by his father) is my room. But it is strange because every one says that my room feels safer to them than the rest of the house. Also at night you hear people calling you and it sound like the radio or the tv is on. One night I woke up and it looked like the whole house was under smoke. Should you walk past my bedroom door at night or day you can clearly out of the corner of your eye see like a dream catcher hanging on the one side but if you look straight at it, it is gone. The one last thing I want to tell you about is one morning, I woke up with a jolt, feeling as though the bed had been floating and it had fallen suddenly, when looking around my room I noticed that a few other things had fallen off the walls and the cupboards???? And later that day I had found things lying in the yard which had been thrown on the roof of the house my my little nieces. It is all so very hard to explain but I hope that it all makes sense. There is alot more that I could say but I would end up writing a book about it... lol.

My parents house has a ghost in it. While living there, the doors would open and close, tv/vcr would come on and off, my hair would get pulled, I'd get nudged, things would get moved around, my touch lamp in my bedroom would turn on and off. My parents never believed me until my daughter and my mom was playing in my old bedroom and the swivel rocker turned did a 360 spin, not once but twice. I also, at my own home, saw a shadow figure standing by my bed, but I'm sure it was my guide or an angel from what I've read.

Quite a few of us on here have. I got tired of answering those questions. I live with 4 ghost as of right now. 1 is a prankster, 2 is a little girl, and then 2 others, they stay to themselves most of the time. I had my house blessed a few years ago but it didn't help much. We have learned to live with them. We ignore the activity pretty much now.

Well I am not quite sure. My roommate believes in existence of ghosts and I don't. But once I was trying to fall asleep but couldn't. And after a few minutes I was dizzy but to asleep feeling like I was having sex with a very strong guy. Very forceful and sweet guy. I was so confused if it was real or not. I told this to my roommate and she crossed herself three times and told me that it is a ghost!! Who cares?! It was so nice.

Yes! I live in a house that is haunted! Just the other night, both myself and my husband heard footsteps in the kitchen and whistling! We were in our bedroom and no one else was home! I also had someone/somethign sigh in my ear and there was no one around! I have taken pictures of my hallway and there is a black figure floating there! Its pretty weird! I am not afraid though! I repect the dead! oh yeah! I had a relative in from out of town; she got up int he middle of the night to get a drink of water, she went back to her room and walked rigth throughan aparition! She was scared to death! She didn;t come out of her room until morning and she knew that everyone else was up! She left that day and refuses to sleep here ever again!

one night i replaced into at my grandmothers abode and the showering room door down the corridor slammed i had an somewhat scared feeling interior yet i figured it replaced into the wind..then it opens and that i hop up scared out my recommendations no shaggy dog tale and it slams back i run into the kitchen like a woosy and get in slightly corner attempting to call somebody i replaced into trembling and that i've got been given sweaty at once. i noted as my mom and sister nd bff and that i heard some severe heels it seampt like coming down the corridor way i purely start up crying and purely replaced into scared out my recommendations then the abode windows interior the kitchen start up shatterring and the door bell rings and that i purely start up hollering scared to loss of life yet my mothers on the door lie jael! open the door i replaced into too scared to flow so she had to free up it with the main under the mat. i be attentive to i kina advised the tale like a horror action picture yet its all actual i dont have time to flow around getting factors for making a ghost tale up.

Yes - several times, happent to have one that follows me from house to house - an older gent - likes the house to stay clean and cold. i've caught him turning the thermostat down, and if the house gets messy - he starts knocking stuff around .

yes many times,many people in my family are psychic and tell me they see things in my house all the time. i have seen misty veils looking down my long dark hall way. i have also woken up to see someone standing at the foot of my bed,it looked like a small dark child,it was weird.
