I ran into a guy on the weekend that I used to work with. He told me he was coming up to his 25th year working at the same place and he had 2 lots of long service leave to use plus unused annual leave. He could take half a year off and get paid for it!! Make me wish I'd stayed at the same place but I left after 10 years...now "back to work!!"

Where I work people work 50 weeks and have 2 weeks off.
It all depends upon where one works and what the benefits are.
4 weeks off is very good!

In the UK, 4 weeks a year is the legal minimum. In the US they have less entitlement.
This is because trade unions are stronger in Europe than America.

Most americans only have two weeks off. In europe they have almost two months as a general rule.

I take at least 8 weeks off per year. I don't enjoy my job and my free time is more valuable to me than having extra money.

Because we need it! i'd like more, I don't like my job that much that I wouldn't take a holiday.
