I have bought many things on eBay and it has been great and saved me a lot of money, but I have also bought stuff on eBay and never received the merchandise. Be very cafeful and really read about how eBay works before you begin. And only purchase from sellers who are paypal protected so you can get your money back if the items doesn't arrive. Also I suggest shopping around to compare prices before you buy.

I've used it for years buying and selling.

The only times I've had a problem is when buying from a company that does a LOT of business. Sometimes they don't care much about customer service.

The other times deal with misleading listings.

Also watch out for inflated shipping and handling costs. Used to be that those amounts were "fair" but now it seems just about everyone is charging way too much.

I have been a member of ebay for about 5 years now. Sometimes you can find some really good deals!

I recommend it; but you really have to read about what you are buying and check s/h; before actually bidding.

I ordered something four days ago....

No sign of it yet, though I used a paypal account and I think it's holding things up (payal says it will take 7/10 days for the bank to clear my payment).

i have had no problems, make sure you check dealers for negative feedback, and always use paypal they are the best. a word of caution, anything under 25.00 is not protected by ebay. so stick with dealers that use paypal.
