lol i just asked the same question. and yes they are. it ends feb.22 at least thats wat someone told me. And ppl are saying its just not as good as the 1st season. But I heard the wb is takin it :o better go out and buy the set.i'm sad but life goes on...

Not really because of Marissa's death. It is going off of the air because it has had really bad viewers reviews over the year. Last year it had less than 4 million viewer's tuned in and meanwhile the first season had over 10 million viewer's tuned to watch. A lot of people have lost interest in the show but I still love it.

It's because the ratings have gone down. I think their biggest downfalls were switching to Thursday nights and, of course, killing off Marissa. I'm still a big fan and very disappointed that the show is ending. I did hear a rumor that there is a tiny chance that CW will pick up the show. Let's hope they do.

marissa's death? probably;; the story line just got messed up and retarded. was much better when marissa was there (my opinion) :)

I dont know but I was soooo! mad when I heard. I've watched it since it began. I thought it was and still is one of the few shows left that I really enjoyed watching. Why dont they cancel that stupid show " Lost" ? I lost intrest in it a long time ago when they just kept showing reruns and would't get on with things. So now all I have left is " UGLY BETTY ", which I absolutely love. If they cancel it , I guess I will just stop watching TV all together , but at least I'll still have my" Friends " reruns to keep me happy!!

because of the fact they have been given rid of Mischa Barton, who virtually became the middle of the tutor. The oc's rankings circulate down because of the lack of ability of visitors who're busy staring at American Idol.

It has something to do with its recent sucking. Now that all of them are out of highschool and Marissa is dead, it has gotten stupid. The First two seasons were gold, but then it went downhill.
