so did u evr shoplift back in the 80 days when it was easy i stole a pack of staples once and got away with it but never done it again have you ever done it people.

I stole a coke and a candy bar from 7 - 11. But you are right it was easy to steal back in the 80's.

I was a teen back then. That was the days before they had the store alarms and those things put on clothes and stuff to sound off the alarms when they weren't paid for. My friend and I stole clothes from Fred Meyer all the time (and told our parents that 'she' got it for us--our parents always believed us too!). Then we almost got caught and they put in the alarms they have now a days, and we quit.
