depends if you kill them or not. I think it means not to trust someone.

Snake represents Rebirth, Resurrection, Initiation, and Wisdom. To native Americans it is a symbol of transformation and healing. In Meso-American societies, the snake was depicted as feathered or flying, their greatest god/hero Quetzalcoatl he was the "Master of the winds and the clouds and the protecting genius of his people. . In Greece, snake was a symbol of alchemy and healing. The snake has been a symbol for sexual/creative life force within humans as taught in eastern traditions. The kundalini, or serpent fire lays coiled at the base of the spine. As we grow and develop the primal energy is released, rising up the spine. This in turn activates energy centers in the body ( chakras) opening new dimensions and levels of awareness, health and creativity. The snake was also seen as a "dragon" a guardian of treasure. IMHO though, I am feeling that this is representing a rebirth, or a change in your life path. Snake can represent a dying of old patterns so that new patterns can emerge. This is represented by the shedding of the snakes skin. Myself, personally, when I have helped others with snake dreams, it meant a transformation of their life, or it meant that their kundalini energy was rising. I strongly recommend you do some research on Kundalini, and on the native American ways of understanding snake energy. It is very powerful, and should not be ignored.

It depends a lot on what you think about them in real life. They can represent fear of something or luck in something or they could represent bravery (in either yourself or someone you know). What was it doing and how many were there? I was born in the Chinese year of the snake and kind of relate to them in that I am one snake that does not like to be crossed!

Dream symbol interpretation may require input from many sources, not just a dream dictionary. Thus I searched for something unique about black rattlesnake to understand your dream. Black rattlesnake differs from other rattlers: it is smaller, it prefers to den alone or in small numbers not in large dens, it is rarely seen because it hides=it is secretive, it achieves the jet black color only at maturity, but the most amazing is its ability to change colors! Please meditate or day dream on the groundless fears and you'll discover the beauty of YOUR INNER TREASURE(golden eyes)--the ability to heal and to make changes (snake), waiting for you to conquer your black fears. Good luck and thank you for sharing your dreams.

coming to terms with ones own sexuality or having a problem coming to terms with this and trying to work it out through your dreams. the rattles could symbolize the fear associated with this, as in, you are afraid of being struck by (found out) or you are afraid of some part of yourself being uncovered (sexually speaking).... which manifests itself in your dreams... you may be afraid of your feminine side of yourself, if you are a male
