It might depend on your age. Sometimes when you're young, your period doesn't stabilize yet. It could also be other factors like stress, pregnancy, or medicine. Although eating medicine might increase you're bleeding,but it's always differnt with different people. If you want ot be sure, you can go ask your doctor or a gynecologist

Not enough food ... too much exercise ... stress (good & bad) ... not enough exercise ... too much food ... depression ... anger ... medication (call doctor) ... age.

If you're young ... then you're still learning how your body works ... it would be helpful for you to talk to your doctor. Learning to talk to your doctor about your body is a very important life lesson that many miss because they're embarrassed.
