My ipod mini is broken, and I don't want to get it fixed b/c it will probably break again. Note: the mp3 player should be limewire compatible.

Is there a reason you don't want to get another iPod? IF you took the time to protect it like put it in an alluminum case you don't need to worry about it breaking. An iPod is no more fragile than most other MP3 players.
If you really don't want to fix your mini, my recommendation is the 5 gen. iPod (yes, still an iPod).

I have a 6gig Zen Micro that works very well. It doesnt have a color screen, but if you just want music it works just fine. Also, it has a removable battery, so if it goes bad or runs out of charge you can just pop a new one in. Plus it glows a cool blue :-P
