Very good question, I would say. I always remind myself that I still have a chance in the world, I'm still young no matter how old I am/ you are. There's a lot more to see than the bitter moments of living in such a cruel world. Remember that living in a tough world means that there is much to accomplish. Remember that there are things that really could be worse. There's just more to life than concentrating on how tough and mean the world CAN be.

I would say keep looking for work maybe try something easy and fun so that you don't get overworked and you can still go to school like dog walker or nanny ( they don't sound good but they are less stressful ). Try doing fun free things with friends maybe go on a road trip or go to the beach things that won't cost money but will be fun and get rid of some of that stress. Who needs a boyfriend anyways just wait and get through school before you look for something long term just have more fun and stop stressing. Hope it doesn't hurt maybe help.

A better question may be....what is resilience. This is the ability to cope with life's stressors and adapt. I think the key to resilience for me is in having ambitious goals that keep me looking forward, but what works for you may be different. Some suggestions that work for many are....religion, helping others, a belief in a particular life's work, caring for children or pets....or anything else that makes you the person that you are...or would like to be.

Stay flexible so you can go with the flow instead of inflexible and break. And realize you can do nothing about yesterday. Tomorrow isn't here yet. We have only today. I'm more careful than I used to be about what I put in my head, like through TV, books and someone's conversation. Garbage in, garbage out.

You do not have to stay Strong you just have to stay a decent moral human being that treats fellow humans with decency and respect.
If you have integrity you are strong anyway.

For ME specifically... not letting things get to me too much. I just filter all the unnecessary crap and proceed to rant and/or expound on matters I think are attention-worthy. *shrugs* It's a mindset... and if you're asking this for yourself, then I can't help you simply because I'm not you!
