We need to show Congress that we disapprove of the way President Bush is using Signing Statements to bypass the law. Signing statements were never a major issue until President Bush has used them 750 times, more than all other Presidents combined (according to the American Barr Association.) Given President Bush's obvious abuse of this power, I think we need to put pressure on Congress to pass a law restricting the President's use of Signing Statements.
