Slumming is when yuppies go to the poor side of town to watch the animals (poor people) writhing in their poverty. It amuses them as though they were visiting a zoo. Also they go there because they think they are going to save their precious money drinking domestic beer and eating tuna sandwiches in the poor people's bars and restaurants. (Patronizing) The irony is that the people they are condescending to are more amused at them for their shallowness and empty lives.

its S-L-O-Ming (Sticking Leeches on myself) its used in an anit-drug campaign to show that peer pressure can lead you to do irrational things. Its a ficticitous problem. Its just a way to show the effects of peer pressure in relation to peer pressure for drugs

I don't think its an actual thing. Its on the commercial to show people exactly how stupid you look when you give into peer pressure and try what all your friends are trying/doing because "everyone else is doing it and it looks cool"

It's on an anti-drug commercial.

It's supposed to be a joke--like, how dumb are kids to fall for peer pressure if they'll actually put leeches on themselves.
