My friend thought it would be fun to sign up for a modeling contest so she signed me up. I am now asked to go to a interveiw for my age group. i dont know what to do or how to walk. Im afraid i'll mess up. I'm just avarage looking. Im not sure if i should go through with this. How many people are going to go to this and have done this before. I dont have a job how will I pay for this? Much help needed.

Well, first of all your friend shouldn't have signed you up in the first place without asking your permission first. But it's also a good chance you should take, who cares if you don't know how to model or if you think you look average. It's a chance your probably not going to ever experience again. And it's not as if you'll ever see the people going to the contest ever again. And who knows maybe you'll win and thank your friend in the end. Don't be scared or nervous about any of it you either do it and experience something new, or you turn it down and you'll never know what could've happened.
But if there are any money issues and your not able to pay for it then you could turn it down. But don't give up too easily!

Tell the agency that your friend singed you up without your permission and you are not coming.

Your friend has no right to sign you up without your permission, and since she is not your agent, she has no right to do so. As to the agency, they should not have accepted an application for you without either you being present or with your expressed permission. None of this is valid.

How old are you anyway? If you and your friend is a minor, anything you or your friend signed up is invalid. No one can enforce an agreement with minor. It's the law.

No, you don't pay for this.

I would definetly go! I just went to a modeling agency about a month ago without any experience and they decided to sign me! You should atleast go and see what happens. Also there isn't anything special you need to say. Just go and be yourself! Its a lot of fun!

i think you should do it when you get done with your interview ask one of your friends to help you learn how to model you can keep on practicing and practicing maybe next time if she signs you up for something you should tell her in a nice way about how you feel about what she signs you up to say to her well next time can you ask me before you sign me up i would appreciate it

if you don't want to model then don't. if you can't tell your friend no then modeling is really not for you, they'll walk all over you. and they do not have steady work either, you have to go on go sees and if they don't like you, then no work and no money.

Just go and see what happens. You're friend thinks you're pretty enough. Take a chance.
