Personification: La guillotine was a cruel and harsh demon. She cared not for whose blood she spilled just as long as there was someone.

simile is like/as right so use you're as pretty as a flower and and your teeth shine like sunshine! metaphor use you are a dream the I can't think of another and for personification you could use the the wind whispered in my ear and the waves lapped at my feet.
