just downloaded a media file from a cousin in usa and it has arrived as a BIN file they say they cannot change it hoe can i open it ?????

Here is what you do....
Using a program like Nero, or any other CD burning software...use the software to burn the .bin file onto a cd. It isn't a file you "open"....you burn it to a CD, because it is an image file.

Take the file you put in the bin out.

YOU CAN GET A MOD FOR MEDIA PLAYER, ALSO LOOK FOR PROGRAM CALLED "VLC MEDIA PLAYER" AT WWW.VIDEOLAN.ORG DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE INSTALL IT. THEN GO TO FILE AND OPEN YOUR BIN FILE, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TRY A FEW OF THE FILES TO GET THE RIGHT ONE
