I usually didn't gain much of anything in the first half of my pregnancies. My total weight gain was always fine though, usually around 27 lbs. All three babies were a healthy weight.
What does your doc say? Does your fundal height measure OK?

Everyone is different!! 20 weeks is still very early. Not everyone gets sick, not everyone gains weight right away. Some people gain a lot, others only a little. You can't compare to other pregnant women, everyone is different. don't worry.

I'm 16 weeks and haven't gained anything yet either. I was pretty sick though. The doctor told me that it's nothing to worry about because the baby is taking everything from you. So if you're worried about the baby, it will be fine :)

I am 27 weeks pregnant and have lost 4 pounds. I also haven't been sick much at all, just haven't gained. Doc. says baby is developing well and no need to worry. My belly is growing and my body is shrinking...who would've thought getting pregnant would help me lose weight?! hehe

Did you start out heavy to begin with. Some heavy set women lose weight in pregnancy instead of gaining.
I don't think I really started putting on weight until about 16-17 weeks. As long as your doctor is not worried I would not be too worried about it.

I wouldn't worry. I gained a total of 19lbs my entire pregnancy and I didn't gain it until the last month and half. Just think, the more weight you gain, the more you will have to lose after the birth.

I only gained a total of 14 lbs. with my son. At five months everybody thought I was three!! I wouldn`t worry about it. As long as your doctor says you and the baby is fine.
