OK. I'm not a shopper, but...

I went to the mall today because I need a pair of black shoes. I went to Macy's because that this the store closest to where I parked - I'm not a shopper, I'm telling you!!!

So, after looking through the various cute and some scary styles, I settled on a pair, but that's beside the point. After I made my choice, I decided to walk over to the sales rack just to see what was there.

What I walked away with surprised me the most! I HATE having to look through a pile of rejects, only to find one shoe that I like, pick it up, and it's the wrong size!!!

I wear a 10. Why would there be a 8.5 or 7.5 in the 10 section??? That annoys me... Which leads me to the meat of my question:

If you were to shop the sales rack, would you look through other size sections to see if there was a shoe in your size there???

Shoppers and non-shoppers welcome!

Thanks for letting me vent.

ps. My shoes are pretty cute, the original pair I picked up.

Shoppers RARELY ever put an item in hand, back where it belongs.
This is why it's so important that sales people continually browse through all goods to assure it "IS" where it belongs, while they "Have nothing to do".
Sales are lost when this is not done religiously.
Do you think that maybe a sale was lost on the size "You found out of place"?

well i'm deffinately a shopper. But i agree the store should keep the sales racks more organized! especially the shoes! I do not have a long enough attention span to sit for an hour looking for my size or the long lost match to the one shoe i found.

It's like that at every store that I have been to.People carry the shoes around so nobody else will take them, then they find another pair that they really like and they drop the other pair they started out with. That's why I go through all of the racks.Sometimes I think that they do it deliberately to hide the pair so someone else won't buy it, in case they change their mind and do come back for the pair.It sure gets crazy!

Sometimes people put shoes that they want in the wrong place in an effort to "hide" them so they can go beg Mommy to buy them and have them still be there when they return. That or they're just too lazy to put them back where they belong.

I look all over, but mostly because sizing is so funny that I can wear a size 7 in one brand and an 8.5 in another.

The problem with sale racks is that the people who work there don't bother to clean them up, and people pick up and put things down all the time. So to answer your question, yes, I would shop the entire rack, not just my size.

Things happen your a size 7 but you see a shoe in size 10 shoe you want and bring it over, Cherks (smart ones) don't spend much time with the "rejects" shoe's. But who cares?

As weird as it may sound. Yes i would go looking for my size 8 shoe, in the 10 section.

The workers should put them back, but i guess it may be impossible.
But it is not convienient for customers at all!

Sometimes..... But not usually. I wear an 8 1/2 and always have trouble finding my size. But have searched other areas....just in case someone moved them to another section.

I have shoe shopping worse than grocery shopping!

Glad you found something cute to wear! Lol...

Probably not. Although I love sales I feel a lot of anxiety when I shop and just want to get it over with.

Well the sales rack is usually a mess. Everyone just throws them wherever.
