A friend's children are using this and I'm curious as to exactly what it is and what it does.

Its a code that when you put it with one ! (e.g Rosebud!;) then it will give you 1000 simoleons. If you type 2 ! (e.g Rosebud!;!) it will giveyou 2000 simoleons and so it goes on
Note: Each ! cound for 1000 simoleons and note thet you must type ; between the !.
And no there is no danger using this code except if you put him over and over and over( E.g over 1000 times then the game will stuck). I suggest typing him until you get about 5 mil and then if you run out of money do this again.

No danger at all. It's a cheat that gives your sims 1000 simoleans (The currency in game). It's like going to a job and earning it in the game. But you instantly get it. It may ruin the fun after awhile though, since you are not earning it.

There are no dangers at all.This cheat allows you to give your sims money without a job. Its the perfect code to buy expensive things :)
