I almost asked that the other day..."why is it that "the right thing to do" is usually the "hardest thing to do?"

But what's the HARDEST? that would ... I once heard the tale of a officer fighting the Japanese, and things were really rough, and the soldiers hated their enemies. And then, one of the Japanese came out of his cave with a white flag. It would have been really easy to shoot him. But the officer said not to; he even had one of his men point a gun at him [the officer] and ask "and why not."
I would say that it's most difficult, that when you have power, to let it go.

And to answer one of your resolved qestions...well, I'll answer it there and it will show up under the "add/view" comments, right? Never Mind; AFTER I typed it all out, a message popped up saying "Please limit to 300 characters." So here it is...
"...many people define who they are..."
Not only that; but I get the feeling that, more importantly, they choose a enemy from which to measure and distance themselves from. And, ultimately, define themselves against them. That must be the worst way to become someone - "as opposed to 'them'."
They also fail to see the connections among everything. They only see compartments.

Too many people forget their humble beginnings when Lady Luck smiles and makes them prosper.
That is probably the hardest thing. Keep your humility.
