glucose is broken into pyruvate in GLYCOLYSIS, then pyruvate (as Acetyl-CoA) is broken into CO2 and NADH in KREBS CYCLE, and the NADH donate their electrons to the ETC

with out presence of O2 glucose is broken into pyruvate in GLYCOLYSIS, then fermentation is used to regenerat NADH, and finally lactic acid is the final byproduct of these reactions
