I took my husband for granted and rejected him, didn't show appreciation, pushed him away and thought that sex was a chore rather than a need for both couples. It'l be two weeks tomorrow. I've tried to work things out with him, but he's hurt and not sure if he wants to put his heart out there again.
I've gone to counseling, and my problems are above ground and I'm ready to move forward without my destructive behavior. I hope that you will consider marriage counseling for atleast one of you if the other refuses. It will help you, and it will help you communicate and understand your spouse. I suggest opening up the Bible and finding God. He will guide you through this. If you like to read, I suggest The Five Languages of Love, The 5 Apology Languages by Dr. Chapman, The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage, The 10 Stupid Things Couples do to Screw up their Relationship by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, and Relationship Rescue by Dr. Phil.
Feel free to email or IM me if you would like to chat or vent! Take care!

It's too much to discuss online, so your notes for that book or paper will be a little shorter.
