Ask the teacher if the two of you can have a chat between or before class and tell her what's bothering you. She may not realize she's treating you in a mean way so this will give her a chance to hear your side of things. If that doesn't work (or if you don't feel comfortable talking with her one on one) then talk to your counselor or assistant principal / headmaster. Parents are good people to consult too... bringing another adult into the situation will help keep this teacher accountable for her actions. Good luck!

What do you mean by 'mean'? Is she a harsh grader? Does she assign a lot of homework? That's not mean, that's just holding students to a higher standard.
If the teacher is insulting you, then you do have the right to go to the principal/your parents about the situation. But if you think she's being mean because she made you stay after because you failed a math test, that's not mean.
Otherwise...suck it up. Teachers aren't there to be your friends, they're there to teach you.

Try to be PERFECT. Don' talk or play games, don't answer someone's question if they as (even if they are your friend), so there's no reason for them to yell at you, turn in all your homework in on time etc. But some people are mean spirited and you'll have to learn to get used to that, unfortunately :( If they are really mean, and only to you, like other students notice that the teacher is particularly mean to only you, go to the principal or guidance counselor and see if you can get transfered to a different class. Good luck. :)

Have you mother or better yet your father schedule a conference with her. If that doesn't end it, talk to the principal. The teacher is probably unhappy with her life and her job.

learn the lessons which she is about to take and get more extra information.... and be really mean in her class by asking her questions above your board level...
but be careful it can backfire she might ask you some more questions and make sure you always do this..
be mean before she means to be mean to you!!!
