The speed of a torrent download depends on the size of the file, the p2p health, and the seeder to leecher ratio. Obviously the larger the file the more time it takes to download it but if the p2p health is low and you have a seeder/leecher ratio of 32:300 its gonna take a while. I download Naruto and Bleach episodes every week using bit-torrent but I use BitLord and I have torrent creators that I get my files from directly. For a 24min show download I usually have to wait anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes depending on the 3 above mentioned factors.
Download times will always differ. If that's the case you can try what I do. If I am downloading a large file (my big stuff usually comes from limewire) I keep my computer on and start the download before I go to bed. Make sure your compy is not in standby or on Hibernate. Turn off your monitor and leave the machine alone. By time you wake up your download should be complete.
I hope this helps you out.

the thing is torrents can be a fuss at first.
Reasons:
1) The clients you use to download files from torrents forces the computer to upload more than download. You have to upload more often before you can download. In time the share ratio will increase (my client requires a ratio above 0.5) and you will download more than upload. The reason why this occurs is, programmers who develop the clients want to encourage people to upload more than download. If everyone downloads then their wont be any seeders or uploaders. Thus the file will become dead.
2) Sometimes some users are unable to connect to other peers because of firewall. Turn off your firewall if it is enabled.
3) To increase the speed of downloading/uploading, you can use port forward. This method allows the user to directly connect to peers. Go to http://portforward.com/routers.htm and follow the instructions.
Note: you must have a functional router to work port forward.

Utorrents depends on the size of the file but they have been really busy due to christmas and all, so that could have something to do with it too. Just keep it running and if ur downloading other stuff at the same time pause them for the time being this will induce the upload speed.

That depends on how large the file is! I am downloading 135 gigs of stuff right now, chances are good it will take a few months. But sometimes you can download very fast.
It also depends on your internet connection speed.

Well well well. I hate Torrents for their speed too. Almost for every Torrent program and file you have to wait TOO much. Usually torrents download start real slow but slowly slowly it start to increace. Anyway its too boring downloading torrents.

What is your question??
2 hours for 12 percent is pretty good if its in dvd format. Since they are like 5 gb per movie that would be 500 mb per hour.
but if it is slow try getting a new tracker @ www.thepiratebay.org

it depends on your internet connection, the amount of seeds (people who are sharing it, which is good if you have alot) and i believe what type of download it is, one last thing, the longer you have it downloading the more the speed it will download at will increase

Why don't you try using something faste ie limewire. 2 hours and 12% well it depends on the speed of their interent, and the speed of their computer also.
